General (applies to everyone):
All payments are non-refundable.
No smoking on the premises.
Only handicap parking onsite. You must have a handicap tag to park onsite. All other parking is at Post Oak Mall by JC Penny.
Owners need to clean up after their pets.
All dogs should be on their best behavior (i.e. no fighting or biting).
All dogs are required to be on a leash, unless in the race track area.
All Race and Costume Contest Participants:
Owners must be on time to the event, with their dogs.
All dogs must be checked in at least 20 minutes before the event begins.
Each dog needs a separate registration form.
All dogs are required to have a current rabies vaccine. A copy of the vaccine certificate is required. No assignments will be made until the vaccine certificate is received.
Wienerspiel Racing Boot Camp is a free practice race from 5pm-7pm on October 16, 2021.
You may bring your dog’s favorite toy, but no food (human or dog food) is allowed in the racetrack area.
No other pets are allowed in the racetrack area.
Only one owner in the racetrack area.
No waving blankets or other large items at the start of the race.
Make sure you are registering your dog in the appropriate race. Racers in the Wiener Dog Races MUST be a dachshund, but do not have to be AKC registered. Mixed breeds and other breeds need to be registered in the Wanna Be a Wiener Race. Veterinarians will be onsite to verify any dogs that may be questionable. Make sure you register your Wanna Be racer in the correct weight category.
Costume Contest Participants:
All dogs in the costume contest must be able to walk freely and safely without tripping on their costume, or be carried.
Standard commercial booth size is 10×10. You must supply your own tent and extension cords if using electricity. Due to a limited amount of electric outlets, if you need electricity, please state that on your registration form.
Food vendor booth size is based on individual needs.
Food vendors will need to have a Brazos County Health Department permit that you have paid for no later than 72 hours before the start of the event. The permit can be downloaded at www.brazoshealth.org.
Non profit vendors must provide their tax exemption paper.
Each vendor will be called or emailed and given their spot assignment no later than 36 hours before the initial event date, unless you are a late registrant.
NO animals may be sold at this event. Animal organizations that participate will need to discuss with Judy LeUnes how any adoptions will be handled if you plan to do this. Adoptions will be handled off site. This is not an event for breeders to sell animals.
NO one may begin loading up any vehicles until the park is clear of participants, per City of College Station rules.
You must provide your own tent, tables, and chairs.
Tents must be weighted down or staked.
